About All City Art Club

Video Captured and Edited by Jay Bordeaux

Richmond, VA is known for its controversial history, great food, beer, and most recently street art. While festivals and local colleges have done a great deal with street art and Richmond tourism, all areas of the city haven’t been able to receive that same treatment.

Founded by Silly Genius, All City Art Club’s mission is to introduce street art to underserved communities without the goal of tourism or gentrification. Residents should not have to be pushed out in order to make a community beautiful. This art collaborative is the group that is currently working to change that.

All City Art Club is bridging the gap between community and citizens. Art makes people feel good about where they live. Giving these residents a sense of pride in their community is the first step of rebuilding.

The partnerships between local artists and local property owners can easily outlast the very art they’re creating. These murals are not only art but a political statement that all citizens, no matter occupation or demographic are a piece in the bigger picture.

All City Art Club currently has several murals in Southside RVA. Your donations and presence at our events not only fuel our drive to keep creating but are able to purchase supplies, proper transportation, and equipment for our murals.
